ALBION Sports picked up their first Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division win of the season by thrashing visitors Bottesford Town 6-2.

And it was glorious day for striker Danny Facey, who helped himself to a hat-trick. He was the one who opened the scoring in the 11th minute, but that was the only goal before the break.

Ben McCready doubled Albion's lead just after half-time, before a Dayle Hutson penalty got Town back into the game.

But three goals in four minutes for the hosts late on killed the game as a contest. Facey, who has two international caps for Grenada, wrapped up his hat-trick with strikes after 79 and 84 minutes, with those sandwiching a goal from Niall Heaton.

Bottesford pulled another one back through Robbie Leaning, but the icing on the cake came when new signing Finn Donovan made it 6-2 in the 90th minute.

Liversedge are on six points from six, and like Albion, were indebted to another quick goal burst, as they won 4-2.

They were 1-0 down at home to Barton Town through a Joshua Batty goal, before Joe Gaughan pulled them level with a penalty on the stroke of half-time.

Gaughan put Sedge in front after 61 minutes, before Oliver Fearon netted their third a minute later. On 67 minutes, Kevy Tarangadzo made it 4-1. Barton grabbed a late consolation through Nathan Peat's spot-kick.

But there was disappointment for the other Premier Division clubs. Thackley were 1-0 up at Bridlington Town through James Rothel, but a second half hat-trick from the hosts' Daniel Earl ensured a 3-1 defeat and a miserable trip to the seaside.

Eccleshill United are still on no points, after suffering late heartbreak at Penistone Church.

The hosts took an early lead through Andrew Ring, but Dominic Staunton equalised soon after.

But it was Penistone who snatched victory at the last, with Brett Lovell scoring an 85th minute winner.

And poor Silsden suffered a bruising 6-2 defeat at a strong Yorkshire Amateur side. Roy Fogarty and Fernando Moke put the hosts 2-0 up, before defender Shaun Airey halved the deficit for the Cobbydalers.

But a brace from Daniel Naidole and another strike from Fogarty put the Ammers 5-1 up, which meant a penalty from Silsden's Antony Brown was rendered virtually academic.

And the home side made it six with a penalty of their own, converted by Ashley Flynn.

But Campion had a big victory in Division One. The T&A spoke to joint-manager Lee Ashforth ahead of their home game with Dronfield Town, who said teams would have to watch out this season for their five talented centre forwards.

And three of them netted on Saturday. Experienced striker Aidan Kirby netted a quickfire first half brace to make it 2-0, before young forward Sean Hunter made it three.

Charlie Stewart pulled one back for Dronfield, but Aidan Day restored the three-goal lead almost instantly.

Callum Mawbey made it 4-2 in the 80th minute, before returning striker Mohammad Qasim ensured it was a five-star showing for Campion.

Finally, it was a bad day for Brighouse Town, as they lost 3-0 at Marske United in the Northern Premier League North West Division.

Former Bradford (Park Avenue) striker Adam Boyes put Marske 1-0 up early on, before Brig wasted a great chance to equalise when Joe Jagger missed from the spot.

Marske punished their visitors with second half goals from Curtis Round and Matty Tymon.
