CITY’S upcoming opponents Grimsby have had to call off their game tomorrow after a positive COVID test.

The Mariners, who are due to host Stuart McCall’s side next Saturday, revealed a positive case within the squad which has forced other players and staff to self-isolate in line with EFL and government guidance.

As a result, their match against Cheltenham has been suspended on safety grounds.

The circumstances around the postponement will now be investigated by the EFL.
