ILKLEY Town and Field maintained their 100 per cent records, as they continue to impress in the West Yorkshire League Premier Division’s early stages.

Following on from their previous 4-2 home victory against Huddersfield Amateur, Ilkley claimed all three points on the road at Carlton Athletic.

Thomas Fleming and Joe Chilaka ensured Town eased to a 2-0 win.

Field also extended their run to two wins out of two, Michael O’Brien and Jahro Parchment on the scoresheet in a tense 2-1 victory away at Knaresborough Town.

In Division One, Salts were victorious once more, a Luke Rhodes brace helping them to a 3-1 home win against Kirk Deighton Rangers.

Elsewhere, Oxenhope Recreation thrashed Wetherby Athletic 4-1 away from home.

A Sam Murphy double did the damage.

Otley Town also cruised to victory in what proved to be a good weekend for our sides in Division One.

Mark McGee and Callan Parker-Wells provided the goods for Town in their 2-0 home victory over East End Park.

To top it off, 10-man Pool fought hard to take all three points in a 2-0 win away at Wyke Wanderers. Harry Higgins sealed the victory late on.

In Division Two, Brighouse Sports opened their campaign with a tense 2-2 draw away to Tingley Athletic.

Luke Cranswick struck an eye-catching brace to claim a point for Brighouse.
