Pictured above, Queensbury’s 1979 side. The amateur rugby league club was considered a thriving organisation, one of the oldest clubs in the Bradford area, formed in 1937. With its busy little clubhouse and good facilities, the club had just purchased its own 53-seater coach.

QUEENSBURY AMATEUR RUGBY LEAGUE 1974 TEAM: Down the years, several hundred players have passed through the club, among them David Hill, the former Bradford Northern player.

QUEENSBURY 1997: The victorious Queensbury ‘A’ team after winning the Hudson & Foster Bradford Cup Final.
