BRIGHOUSE Town Women have announced the signing of midfielder Maria Ledezma-Viso.
Last term, the young Venezuelan had a successful season at FA Southern Premier side Crawley Wasps.
She will be returning to the area, having previously been at Guiseley.
Town continued their impressive start to pre-season thanks to a Amy Woodruff hat-trick in their 6-0 home win over Wakefield Trinity.
It was a fairly even start until Ellie White opened the scoring on the 24th minute. Annabelle Cass and an in-form Emma Dobson were the other scorers in the rout.
Brighouse Sports put in a fantastic performance to overcome a Leeds United XI 3-0.
Sports’ goals came through Leanne Smith, Sarah Hemingway, and a screamer from skipper Demi Topliss.
The second half saw Leeds piling on the pressure, but they were unable to get past goalkeeper Shaz Bates.
Farsley Celtic Women had a thrilling friendly against Leeds United's under-23s which finished in an amazing 6-6 draw.
Firstly, Leeds took the lead before Shirley Murphy and Caitlin Bates put the Celts in front.
The Whites would score two more though to take a 3-2 lead at the break.
Goals from Rachel White, Ellie Casper (2) and another for Bates set Farsley up for an excellent win.
However, United snatched a late equaliser to ensure they did not get beaten.
