THE Craven League football season has kicked off already, with the Premier Division getting under way on Tuesday evening.
And in these unfamiliar times, there were at least some well-known faces on the scoresheet.
Silsden Whitestar won their opening game at home to Bingley Town BTFC 2-1, thanks to goals from the prolific duo of Josh McNulty and Josh Metcalfe.
Sporting Keighley also had success, winning 4-2 away at Crosshills.
Lee Reilly hit a brace for the hosts, but it was not enough, as Ibrahim Haroon Rashid, Danny Hussain, Kyle Leighton-Bingham and Mohammed Zubair all netted for Keighley.
Grassington United are the early table toppers though. They hammered Settle United 6-1, thanks to first half doubles from Daniel Hunt and Luke Howson.
The other game in the division saw Trawden Celtic Juniors win 2-1 at Rolls.
In Division One last night, Damien Whiteoak's goal saw Silsden Whitestar Reserves win 1-0 at Addingham, while Mish Allen's brace helped Cononley Sports Club thump Broomhill 5-1.
Bradley edged out Barnoldswick Barons Seniors 5-4 in an epic Division Two encounter, and Chatburn beat Earby 2-1.
Salts 3rds Craven saw their home game with Baildon Trinity Athletic abandoned due to the bad weather.
Finally, in Division Three, Hellifield Sports beat Settle United 3rd 3-2.
