THACKLEY have confirmed they will be playing Guiseley in a friendly next Saturday at Dennyfield.
Earlier this month, the Dennyboys' chairman Ben Oliver said that his club were hoping to arrange a friendly against higher-league opposition on August 29 and now they have got their wish.
They have said they are waiting to make a further announcement shortly on supporter attendance for both that game and their home clash with Steeton on August 25.
Thackley have had a mixed pre-season so far, beating FC United of Manchester, drawing with Barnoldswick Town and Emley AFC and losing to Nostell Miners Welfare and Campion.
Guiseley's Vanarama National League North season does not begin until the start of October, so this is set to be their first pre-season game.
