CITY will find out their League Two fixtures next Friday, the EFL today confirmed.

The schedule for the 2020-2021 campaign will be revealed on August 21 at 9am.

As revealed in the Telegraph & Argus last week, the season will kick off with the first round of the Carabao Cup.

That is earmarked for September 5 – the Saturday before the league curtain-raiser.

League Two will involve 11 midweek games this season up to its finish on the weekend of May 8 and 9, 2021.

The EFL Trophy will get underway in the week beginning September 7 – even though last season’s final between Portsmouth and Salford is still to take place.

It has also been confirmed that FA Cup replays have been scrapped for next season.

The draw for the Carabao Cup - as well as the EFL Trophy group stages - will take place on Tuesday.
