BRADFORD (Park Avenue) have released details for when they will be hosting their first academy open training session.

At the end of June, the club announced plans to reform their set-up with two sides for each age group, an academy team and a community one, ranging from the Under-5s up to the Under-18s.

Now, they are beginning to put this into fruition with the opening session scheduled for Monday 17th August (11am) at the Horsfall Stadium.

Unfortunately, Avenue have had to cancel the academy open evening, which was suppose to happen on August 12, due to the tightening of lockdown restrictions in Bradford.

For anyone who has just finished secondary school, Park Avenue can also offer further education within sport.

Alongside gaining more education qualifications, Horsfall has in place a brand new FIFA-approved 3g pitch.

As part of the course, students will be exposed to full time football, which includes training, and given the opportunity to increase their own skill set by delivering coaching sessions.
