BRIGHOUSE Town Women continue to be prolific with their signings this summer, with two more top players joining their ranks.

But there is also a sad farewell to one of the team's stars, as 2019/20 player of the season Emma Pilling has departed the club, in order to focus on becoming a mum.

But despite Pilling leaving, plenty of players are coming in the other way.

Midfielder Abi Lee has made the short journey across Yorkshire, with the former Bradford City player having signed from Huddersfield Town, while flying winger Drew Greene has signed from Barnsley.

Brig have signed a couple of young stars for their development squad too in Shannon Heffron and Denika Connolly.

Lee and Greene are not the only first team players to sign for Brig this month.

Amy Woodruff has joined after leaving Barnsley, Ellie White has been brought in from Huddersfield, while Ellie Dobson has come in from Middlesbrough.

Club legend Charlotte Proud has left though, due to having to relocate.
