LIVERSEDGE continue to impress with their signings for the new season, and with a lot of forward power either brought in or retained, they have focused on their defence this time around.
Jonathan Rimmington's side have signed experienced centre back John Cyrus. The 28-year-old was at Pontefract Collieries last season, and has also played for Frickley Athletic and Emley too.
But he has experience at an even higher level, having turned out for Altrincham in the National League.
He is the third centre back to sign for Sedge this summer, after former Huddersfield Town Academy and Brighouse defender Adam Field, who can also play at right back, and ex-Harrogate Railway man Kevy Tarangadzo.
