LIVERSEDGE are holding academy trials on August 4 at 7pm at the Tetley's Stadium in Dewsbury.
It is all part of their Football and Education Scholarship Programme and successful applicants will get the chance gain a BTEC qualification over two years of study, while hopefully gaining the chance to kickstart a career in the game.
The course would begin in September, and on the playing side, the academy will be running day-time training, weekly competitive football matches and provide a pathway to a career in football and sport.

In terms of the senior team at Sedge, Alex Lill, who has been recovering from a bad knee injury for the last few months, has been retained by the club.
