CITY have announced that Apprenticeships at Bradford College has become the club’s official digital partner.

The training division of Bradford’s further and higher education institution has agreed a substantial deal.

In addition to partnering the club’s iFollow channel, Apprenticeships at Bradford College branding will also be showcased across City’s social media platforms.

Apprenticeships at Bradford College will also feature heavily in Valley Parade’s North West Corner, as part of a new advertising opportunity.

Kelly McAllister, head of apprenticeships and business development at Bradford College, said: “The college is passionate about transforming lives and supporting our local community, and business is key to this.

“Our new partnership will support the college to fill skills gaps and improve employment opportunities across the region.

“Bradford City Football Club provides a great platform for us to share key messages and opportunities.”

Bradford College’s senior business development officer, Nicky Betteridge, added: “Apprenticeships at Bradford College is uniquely positioned to support recruitment.

“The summer is usually our busiest period, where we receive thousands of applications and hundreds of vacancies from businesses looking to employ apprentices.

“Sadly, events following COVID-19 have delayed this key period and we hope that, by working with the Bantams - and being a part of their growing business network - we will open doors to new opportunities, allowing us to share key messages with the club’s large fanbase.”

City director of communications and commercial, Ryan Sparks said: “We are absolutely delighted to be welcoming one of the city’s key players to our expanding commercial portfolio.

“This is a very innovative and exciting new partnership which will deliver big numbers via our online platforms, aiding and developing the college’s efforts to provide apprenticeships for thousands of young adults across the district and beyond.”

Bradford College’s apprenticeships team is now undertaking initial assessments with applicants and supporting employers with their recruitment needs.
