THACKLEY have announced the news that their squad has been retained in full ahead of the 2020/21 Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division season, except for two players.
But the pair that have departed, Sean Hunter and Albert Ibrahimi, leave with the club's best wishes, after they secured moves higher up the league pyramid.
The Dennyboys' manager, Pat McGuire, has spoken to the Telegraph & Argus in the past about how he loves to see Thackley players get the chance to test themselves at a higher level, so he is sure to be following the future careers of the duo closely.
McGuire will nonetheless be delighted that so many of last season's team have decided to stay, including the likes of rock-solid defender Ryan Basi, whose brother Aran plays for rivals Eccleshill United, and prolific striker Jack Normanton.
