CITY have played down reports claiming Filipe Morais could return to Valley Parade.
The 34-year-old Crawley winger, who left the Bantams for Bolton in 2017, has been linked with both former clubs in a report by the Football Insider website.
The story claimed that Morais was in talks with both – but it is understood that there have been no discussions with City.
He is not thought to be among the names currently being considered at this stage.
Billy Clarke is close to coming back for a third spell with the club but there are no indications that Stuart McCall has any plans to re-sign any other former players.
Morais made 71 appearances for City, scoring eight goals including the equaliser in the 4-2 FA Cup win at Chelsea.
He spent most of last season on loan with Oldham.
