EAST Bierley Golf Club have started their season, and with several results from the ladies section to share, it is Sue Thomas who has proved the early form horse.
She won competitions on consecutive weekends in June, with 31 points enough to secure victory in the Lifeboat contest (June 14), before she achieved a score of 79 nett to earn the EGU medal (June 21).
It was Kath Thornton who won the stableford competition on June 7, while Ruth Senior emerged victorious from the Grans contest on June 28.

LIFEBOAT....... 14.6.20. Sue Thomas. 31 points.
EGU MEDAL....21.6.20. Sue Thomas. 79 nett.
GRANS............28.6.20. Ruth Senior. 35 points.
The season has, of course, started later than usual due to the coronavirus pandemic and as a result, there will be fewer competitions this year.
