CITY hope to tomorrow take a step nearer knowing when the League Two season might be able to restart.
Another EFL meeting with clubs is scheduled when they expect to hear more information about the 2020-2021 kick-off.
There have been suggestions of a mid-September start, with the 12th being mentioned. The previous weekend is currently down for internationals – although it is doubtful whether they would be allowed to take place.
But some clubs have indicated they would be happier to wait to make sure they played less games behind closed doors.
The agenda for the afternoon’s video conference, which will see David Baldwin introduced to club heads for the first time as the new EFL chief executive, also includes the contentious salary-cap proposal.
