BRAD Dockerty has become the eighth player to sign on for Bradford (Park Avenue) for the 2020/21 campaign.
The winger, who has put pen-to-paper on a one-year contract with an option for a second, joined Avenue at the beginning of last season, after impressing at step five side Hemsworth Miners Welfare.
During his time at the Miners, he netted an excellent 40 goals and made 34 assists.
Dockerty began his time in Bradford strongly, scoring three goals from five starts and making a further nine appearances from the bench.
However, a change in working circumstances meant he was loaned to Pontefract Collieries for the remainder of the 2019/20 season.
The 23-year-old scored three times in 16 games for the Northern Premier League Division One North West team.
He joins the likes of Jake Hibbs, Mitch Lund and Lewis Knight as part of Mark Bower's ever-growing squad.
Dockerty is eager to get back out on the Horsfall pitch and prove he has got what it takes to make it at this level.
He said: "I’m really excited to be back at BPA, due to my work commitments last year cutting my spell short, I’m delighted to be given another chance to play at this level under Mark and Bosh.
"I enjoyed my time here last year and when Mark phoned me, it was a no brainer, to return and test myself.
"Hopefully I can impress, score a few goals and help the club back to where it wants to be."
Bower added: "It is a real positive that Brad has agreed to extend his stay with us.
"Brad showed his potential early last season with his quality, pace and eye for goal.
"Unfortunately work commitments limited Brad’s involvement later in the season, however he is now in a position to fully commit to the training and travel required.
"We look forward to working with him, with the aim of helping him reach his full potential with us."
