Thackley have slipped back down the Premier Division table after three Northern Counties East League defeats on the trot but could go back above Parkgate, who visit Dennyfield on Saturday, with a victory.
John Boyle's men will be smarting after last Saturday's 5-0 reverse at then leaders Glapwell. The two previous defeats had been single-goal games and the display at Glapwell was not as poor as the scoreline suggested, so Boyle is looking for a positive reaction.
