YOUNG Keighley rugby union talent Ellie Kildunne has completed a gruelling run to help raise money for the Mind and Muscular Dystrophy UK charities.

She undertook the one-day challenge of running a mile every hour for 14 hours and did so alongside, not physically of course, her England Women Sevens teammates.

Kildunne even found the time to post on her Twitter page during the challenge, wearing the shirts of the various teams that have helped her on her rugby journey, including Keighley and Woodhouse Grove.

The tough challenge proved more than worthwhile too. Having set an ambitious £4,000 fundraising goal, the England Women Sevens squad have raised £4,020.63 at the time of writing.
