CITY fear time is being wasted as the EFL delay an announcement on finishing the season.
The Premier League are working towards a June 17 restart date but the bottom three divisions are still to be settled.
The Bantams joined the unanimous call from League Two clubs to stop now – and save valuable cash for the financial fight ahead.
The governing body announced yesterday that they have called a meeting for June 8 when they will "consider and, if thought fit, approve the proposals".
City director of communications Ryan Sparks said: “It’s increasingly worrying that it’s been two weeks since we sat down with the other clubs.
“We’ve got to safeguard the future of the clubs and the only way you’ll do that is with clarity.
“The only way you’ll get clarity is by putting full stops at the end of the sentences. At the minute, it’s just comma, comma and comma.
“If the majority of League Two don’t want to carry on, that’s fine but we need to stop now so that we can begin rebuilding our clubs.
“League Two is unanimous to curtail the season, League One might be more 60-70 per cent and the Championship is like splitting hairs.”
