ATHLETICO are looking to recruit new players, as they have decided to introduce an Under-16s football team for next season, which will appeal to those who will be starting Year 11 in September.

The reason a new U16s team has been created is because a lot of young people at this age become stressed out due to their GCSEs and it is hoped being able to enjoy playing football will help ease the pressure somewhat.

Athletico are an established junior football club based in Bradford, with teams ranging from U8s to U18s. They also have an adult team, which gives young players the opportunity to move up in the ranks, as well as giving them a good chance to play at a professional level.

All coaches are FA qualified licensed coaches with DBS and safeguarding certification.

Training and home games will take place at the John Craig Sports Centre, Bradford Academy School, Lister Avenue, Bradford, BD4 7QR from September, once the Football Association allows football to continue at that level.
