IN the latest edition of our look back through the T&A archives, here are five rugby pictures from days gone by.

Do you recognise yourself or anyone you know?

In our first picture, youngsters from a local rugby team were the height of sporting fashion, thanks to generous sponsors who had donated a new strip.

PICTURE ONE: Clayton Under-16s 1996 - Irvine and Helen Broadbent, licensees of the George III pub in Queensbury, had put up the cash for new gear for Clayton’s Under-16s, pictured here in 1996.

PICTURE TWO: Clayton 1994 - Clayton retained the Pennine RL Cup with a 33-4 win over Dodworth in 1994. Tries by centre Ian Flanagan and winger Bob Keeble, and two goals and a drop goal from prop Paul Gill, gave them an 11-4 interval lead.

PICTURE THREE: Dudley Hill 1991 - Pictured here in May 1991, Dudley Hill’s Under-17 amateur side, who were ready for their trip to Toulouse, France.

PICTURE FOUR: Dudley Hill ARLFC 1993 - Taking home the trophies once again are Dudley Hill’s 1993 winning side.

PICTURE FIVE: Dudley Hill RL 1985 - No names for this winning team, pictured here in April 1985.
