THE Bradford Premier Cricket League have new title sponsors.
Highly-regarded Lancashire-based garden, home and leisure company Gordon Rigg, who have sites in Walsden, near Todmorden and off junction 21 of the M62 near Rochdale, have replaced All Rounder Cricket, who backed the prestigious league for four seasons.
The league will be known as the Gordon Rigg Bradford Premier League.
In addition, the Priestley Cup, Jack Hampshire Cup, Priestley Shield and the two T20 Cups will also carry the Gordon Rigg name.
The new sponsorship was secured by the league’s marketing officer Bill Holmes, who said: “We are delighted to have the backing of Gordon Rigg, who are celebrating their 75th anniversary this year.
“They are a very successful company and their garden centres were named the best in the north in the most recent Which survey of that sector.
“We are looking forward to working with them and its important for everybody in the league to support our sponsors in every way they can.”
