PAIGE Costello - former Bulls Women star and founder of Costello Training and Nutrition - held a nutrition workshop with Bradford scholarship players and their parents.

The scholarship side - coached by Ryan Hunkin - get their season underway on March 18, welcoming Wigan Warriors to Odsal Stadium.

Costello came on board in December, having come to the attention of head of youth Leigh Beattie following her year with the Bulls Women side.

Official supporters trust Bullbuilder helped enable her involvement at the club, which Beattie felt was vital to the development of the Bulls' young stars.

Speaking following her appointment, Beattie said: "It is something we looked at for a while and is needed.

"The scholarship and academy players will be getting full skin folds and specialised diet plans which Paige will review for the whole season.

"It is massive to take our club forward. She will be doing lessons for the parents too to educate them as they are the ones who ultimately cook for them.

"Nutrition and recovery is massive in our game and it shows yet again the club investing into the academy to take them to the next level."
