BRADFORD & DISTRICT SEA ANGLING CLUB

Will fellow sea anglers try not to forget our quarterly meeting will take place on Tuesday, March 17 at our headquarters in the New Inn, East Bierley, commencing at 8pm?

This will be our presentation evening, where members who have caught great fish will be presented with trophies for their achievements for 2019. There will be a free buffet afterwards.

So if members could try to attend this important meeting, as it promises to be a great night. New members will be made most welcome.

BINGLEY ANGLING CLUB

With river levels dropping, anglers will be hoping to get back on the rivers this weekend before they close next Friday (March 14).

Extra care should be taken, as river banks will have changed and could be dangerous after the prolonged high water levels.

LEEDS & DISTRICT A.S.A.

River banks are in a dangerous condition and greater care than usual should be taken.

The last match of the coarse season on the River Ouse is due to be fished on Sunday, but at the time of going to press, this is uncertain. Please contact the match secretary by 9pm this evening.

The result of the match held at Moor Monkton pools on Wednesday, February 26 was: 1. C. Watson 70lb 4oz, 2. A. Gallant 63lb 7oz, 3. E. Boldison 54lb 9oz.

The match held on the Sunday finished: 1. G. Miller 64lb 4oz, 2. A. Bull 50lb 2oz, 3. O. Hewitt 46lb 7oz.

LISTERHILLS A.A.

The match held on Saturday on the canal at Rodley was fished to a shortened duration. The winner, E. Harrison, required only 1lb 6.5oz, made up of six perch.

The runner up spot went to junior angler C. Morgan with 14oz. These were the only two who brought fish to the scales.

Leeds Amalgamation membership is still available. There is no entry fee.
