YORK City Knights’ game against Featherstone Rovers on Sunday, March 22 will be shown live on Sky Sports.
The round six fixture in the Betfred Championship will form part of a double header alongside the Betfred Super League match between Toronto Wolfpack and Wakefield Trinity.
The Knights will host Featherstone in the 3pm kick-off before York will host its first ever Super League game as Toronto play Wakefield at 5.15pm.
The game is scheduled to be played at the LNER Community Stadium, although no opening date has yet been announced by the partnership behind the build.
Sky have shown the Championship’s Summer Bash event for several years at Blackpool’s Blomfield Road as well as the play-off campaign for last year.
Aside from Toronto matches, the broadcaster haven’t shown a regular-season game since Leigh Centurions played Dewsbury Rams back in September 2011.
Featherstone won three of the four games against York in 2019, including the win in the play-off semi-finals.
