MAN OF THE MATCH

George Flanagan looked as if he had never been away, as he made his return after an eight-game suspension. There were times when he looked like the only player who wanted to score a try for Bulls, and he scored within a minute of entering the field.

MOMENT OF THE MATCH

A player’s first try for the club is always a special moment, but Adam Rooks scored a particularly impressive one, showing quick thinking to kick through and score after a hospital ball out to him from Sam Hallas.

MOAN OF THE MATCH

Bulls wasted so many good attacking opportunities, and only scoring four points in the whole of the second half against a non-league side really wasn’t good enough.

REPORT: Bradford Bulls make hard work of lacklustre Cup victory

TACTICS

Anthony England, Evan Hodgson and Greg Johnson all missed out from Bulls’ previous team against Featherstone.

George Flanagan made his first start of the season, as did Dan Waite-Pullan, who marked his Bulls debut with a couple of crunching tackles.

Levy Nzoungou impressed again off the interchange bench. Could he be in line for a start at Oldham?
