DARREN Tetley has has signed for MTK Global.

The unbeaten Holme Wood born fighter has put pen to paper on an an advisory deal with the management company.

MTK provide professional support for hundreds of boxers including the likes of Tyson Fury and Carl Frampton, helping them with career development, legal, media, endorsements and sponsorships.

Tetley also confirmed that his next fight would be in Leeds on March 6.

The 26-year-old has struggled to attract the big names in the welterweight division since capturing the WBO European title in 2018, fighting journeymen in his three bouts since.

Tetley told MTK Global that he is delighted to sign on the dotted line and hopes the company can put him in the position to fight for more titles in the future.

He said: “I’m over the moon to sign with MTK Global. They seem to be taking over the sport in a positive way by looking after their fighters and getting them opportunities in really good fights, so I’m happy to be part of the team and I can’t wait to get going.

“All you have to do is look at the names they have. They are all elite fighters so just to be under the same team as them is massive, and hopefully I can be on some of their massive shows and maybe get to that level myself.

“I think most boxers want to be world champion and of course that’s a dream for me, but I just want to be involved in some big fights that can really get people talking about me. I want to get my name out there whilst picking some titles and fans up along the way.”
