BRADFORD (Park Avenue) have welcomed supporters to a fans forum at the club on Friday in the presence of owner Gareth Roberts.

Fans can expect their chairman to provide an update on the Horsfall Stadium development plans following news a planning application has been submitted by the club for an artificial pitch.

Roberts told the Telegraph and Argus back in November that he needed to raise £500,000 to fund the new facility, shortly after securing a 30-year lease to take control of the ground from Bradford Council.

The Avenue owner previously stated that the new pitch would be used by the club's teams, local amateur football clubs and rugby teams to play on a quality all-weather surface.

Roberts has claimed in the past that there is still a possibility that Bradford Bulls could end up at Horsfall even though the Bulls found a temporary home at the Dewsbury Rams Tetleys Stadium for the 2020 season after being forced to up sticks from Odsal last year.

Supporters will also be keen to find out how the club are addressing their recent struggles on the pitch, with Bradford staring relegation in the face, currently 12 points from safety in the Vanarama National League North.

The event will be held in the club house, starting at 7pm with floor open for questions and the bar open from 6:30pm.
