Last week's silvers match on the boats section was the first match of the winter where everyone has caught.

Leading the way, just missing out on a double figure weight, was Richard East (Matrix Halifax), with skimmers and roach for 9lb 10oz.

Second was Dave Colbran (Keighley) with 6lb 6oz and Andy Turner (Tricast Calder) came third with 5lb 2oz.

The draw will be held 8:45am at the Sir Norman Ray Pub, Market Square, Shipley, BD18 3QB, with an entry fee of £15.

Year books need to be purchased before heading out onto the bank.

They are available from the following outlets only: Angling and Country Sports (Otley), Eccleshill Angling, KL Tackle (Keighley), W.H. Kershaw Domestic Repairs (Shipley) and Forresters Arms (Grassington).

Yearbooks need to be purchased before fishing any of our waters in 2020.

The prices are the same as previous years with no joining fee. Adults £22, Juniors (18 & under) £11, Ladies £11 and OAP's £11. A second rod permit costs £5.

BRADFORD & DISTRICT SEA ANGLING CLUB

Will members try not to forget our quarterly meeting will take place on Tuesday, March 17 in our headquarters at East Bierley, commencing at 8pm.

This will be our presentation evening. So if members could try to attend this important meeting, new members will be made most welcome.

LEEDS & DISTRICT A.S.A

Pike anglers on the River Ouse system have been active in recent weeks. A reminder that day tickets must be obtained before fishing on the Pool fishery.

In last week's match on the Ouse, the winner, K. Hartley, weighed 10 perch for 15lb 14oz.

Second, at the next peg, was P. Bennett, with 14lb 6oz. Third saw an equal tie on 4lb 12oz.

In Tuesday's match at Kippax Park, A. Broomhead was first with 23lb 4oz. Second place went to G. Willmore with 9lb 12oz and third was J. Brogden, with a total catch of 7lb 1oz.

In Saturday's fixture, the winner was J. Redmond with 33lb 6oz, P. Kidd came second with 14lb 4oz, while T. Evans managed third with 8lb 3oz.

At Moor Monkton pools, the Wednesday match was won by A. Gallant with 56lb 3oz. Just behind was C. Watson with 50lb 15oz and it was M. Hare in third with 43lb 6oz.

Finally, the winner of Sunday's match was C. Watson with a big catch of 93lb 14oz. B. Fisk came second with 80lb 15oz and R. Worsnop secured third place with 43lb 13oz.
