Thackley are one of three Bradford clubs with NCE League Cup home ties on Saturday and their visitors are Glasshoughton Welfare.
The Dennyfield outfit have had a stuttering start to their league campaign but manager John Boyle is looking forward to the tie and said: "Just now we are seeking a little bit of consistency.
"The squad is starting to show potential and we have brought players in who have given us genuine competition for places, which is something we lacked in the early part of the season."
