Eccleshill entertain Maltby Main on Saturday in the NCE League Cup second round in what is a dress rehearsal for a forthcoming league match.
Eccleshill boss Mick Watson said: "We have been drawn against Maltby Main, who we play a week on Friday in the league, so we might give a few of the fringe players a run-out on Saturday.
"Obviously you want to win every game and any trophy would be welcome at this club but my assistant Andy Patterson and myself have spoken about it and this is an ideal opportunity to throw a couple of fresh faces in.
"The lads we are thinking of putting in are ones we need to have a last look at in a pressure-cooker situation."
