West Bowling's slender grip on National Conference League Premiership survival will surely come to an end if they fail to beat fellow strugglers Eastmoor Dragons at the Bankfoot Oval on Saturday.
With the season halfway through, Bowling have won just one match and are currently in the doldrums having lost six on the trot but they have a golden opportunity to gain revenge for their opening day 27-12 defeat at the Dragons' den.
The Wakefield side are also cast adrift just one place above West with two wins and they are on a four-match losing streak.
Scrum half Steve Illingworth is the latest casualty with a damaged shoulder and loose forward Adie Leek is out with a knee injury after only lasting the first half last week.
Teenage utility player Sam Whitehouse is drafted into the squad at half-back.
