KATIE Platts' hat-trick helped Farsley Celtic Juniors promotion challenge with a 4-1 win at Thackley in the West Riding County Women's Premier Division.

Camille Kerford scored the other for Farsley and Lois Cooper grabbed the hosts effort.

Celtic are now level on 24 points with leaders Yorkshire Amateur.

Bradford (Park Avenue) battled their way to a well earned 2-2 against Hepworth United in the North East Regional League.
