BRADFORD (Park Avenue) have signed Cyprian international Stelios Demetriou on a dual registration from Isthmian League Premier Division Haringey Borough.

Demetriou made his one appearance for Cyprus against Jordan in 2018, coming on as a 87th minute substitute and getting booked in the 3-0 defeat.

The full back, who can play on the wing, has also played on numerous occasions for Cyprus' under-21s, scoring once in his nine games.

Demetriou has spent most of his career in the Cyprian leagues before moving to St Mirren in January 2017.

The 29-year-old helped the Scottish Championship side win the league, starring 34 times and bagging four goals.

However, he was released when his contract expired at the end of the season and was picked up by Ross County.

After only making nine appearances for County, Demetriou went to League Two team Macclesfield Town to make two appearances to end the 2018-19 season.

He signed for current club Haringey at the start of this campaign and could be available for Avenue's trip to Altrincham later today.
