THORNBURY Celtic smashed Shipley Town 5-0 to book their place in the quarter-finals of the West Riding County FA Sunday Cup.

James Hochstrasser’s hat-trick helped Horsforth St Margaret’s B cruise into the last eight of the West Riding FA Challenge Trophy after a 5-0 win over Hampsthwaite United.
Hampsthwaite, who have won all their eight games in the Harrogate First Division, were more than in the match at the break after Alex Miller’s strike had provided the hosts with a narrow lead.
However, Horsforth were a different team in the second period as Greg Rowell’s finish was sandwiched between Hochstrasser’s trio.
St Margaret’s travel to Springhead Reserves of the Manchester League Division Three in the next round. Elsewhere, Gildersome Spurs OB reserves were beat 4-1 by Woodkirk Valley.
