THE BANTAMS are hoping to pump up the volume when they trial an ‘atmosphere section’ at home to Leyton Orient.

Sections of the upper tier of the North West Corner stand will be made available to fans keen to participate on Saturday, March 14 (3pm).

Blocks G and H are being dedicated to the trial, with tickets now available to purchase in those areas.

City’s director of communications Ryan Sparks said: "Atmosphere is a key ingredient of our matchday experience and is something we are committed to enhancing.

"We boast the best home form in the division and our crowds are averaging around 14,200. "The noise generated and the support behind the team has certainly played a part in such success.

"The 'atmosphere section' is a concept we have been looking implement for a while, having observed similar examples at other clubs."

Fans who sit elsewhere at Valley Parade and wish to move into these sections, are being offered complimentary ‘seat swaps’.

Likewise, supporters who would prefer to move out of the area are able to do so free of charge.

"We understand some of our current season-ticket holders will be displaced as a result of this trial fixture," added Sparks.

"However, this area of the stadium has been selected as a midpoint between two main stands and affects the least amount of supporters.

"We apologise for any inconvenience caused and must reiterate this is a trial fixture.

"We welcome feedback on the matter and look forward to working closely with our supporters - after the event."
