KEELAN Foster hopes he has proven why he should be considered for a place in the much-anticipated friendly at Leeds Rhinos this weekend.
The West Yorkshire derby is Jamie Jones Buchanan's testimonial and is set to be witnessed by a huge crowd as both sets of supporters pack out Headingley to raise funds for the recently retired second row’s chosen charity - and the Rob Burrow Foundation after the legendary half-back announced he had been diagnosed with motor neurone disease.

Foster captained a youthful Bradford side in their second-season friendly at Hunslet where they were beaten 26-18 at the South Leeds Stadium.
Despite the loss, John Kear was delighted with the performance from a team which featured an entire new starting 13 as the Bulls boss aims to give all of his squad a run-out before the start of the season.
Foster was proud to lead out his boyhood club and hopes he put in a performance which makes Kear consider him for not only Sunday’s friendly but for more appearances throughout the upcoming Betfred Championship campaign.
He said: “It was good to captain the team; I have never captained a Bulls team before so it’s quite an achievement.
“Hopefully fingers crossed I can feature (this week).
"It would be a great game to play in with what has gone on. I think they have sold 12,000 tickets and however more they are going to do.
“I think I have had a really good pre-season; I will be trying to push for as many appearances as possible next year.”
The 19-year-old, who also featured in Bradford's Boxing day victory over Castleford, believes his team were unlucky to find themselves on the losing side at Hunslet.
He said: "I thought everybody did well, we took the lead and I thought we were in good stead.
"I knew they were going to come back into it, they have a lot of old heads in their team, a lot of experience.
"We struggled to get out and then they scored a couple of tries late on in that first half.
"We were trying to focus on how we started the first half. I thought in the second half we were pretty consistent.
"When we scored a couple of tries, I thought we were on to win the game but we just fell short."
