THE Bulls are approaching 'make your mind up' time over dual-registration.

Coach John Kear is due to sit down with part-owners Mark Sawyer and Adam Fogerty tomorrow and is likely to use their meeting as a cut-off point.

The Bulls have been waiting for the green light from one Super League club after holding talks about a possible link-up.

Another side are also thought to still be considering whether to take up an option with somebody in the Championship.

But Kear has already made it clear that he is not prepared to hang around and would be quite prepared to go without for next season.

He said: “We’re having a chat and I think we’ll resolve it one way or the other.

“We’ve got to make a decision now, otherwise I can’t plan to manage our squad.”

Toronto's name has been linked with the Bulls while Kear recently revealed that he had spoken to Hull FC coach Lee Radford about dual-reg.

The Bulls have no injury concerns over Liam Kirk and Adam Rooks, who both came off against Castleford on Boxing Day.

Kear added: “Liam Kirk has had his two days’ rest (after a concussion). He’s been to see the medical staff and they are doing the protocol for a return to play.

“I see no reason why he shouldn’t play against Leeds.

“Adam’s groin tightened up and if we’d left him out there, we could have damaged him.

“But we didn’t and brought him off straight away and put on Sam Smith, who did well himself. It was a precaution more than anything.”
