BRADFORD City made a winning start to 2020 with a 1-0 success over struggling Morecambe.

The Bantams made it two successive home wins over the holidays following their 2-0 victory against Mansfield Town at Valley Parade last Sunday.

Here's T&A reporter Simon Parker's game guide and player ratings.

MAN OF THE MATCH

Dylan Connolly’s pace continues to prove an effective attacking weapon, although he was more dangerous when back in his natural wide role.

MOMENT OF THE MATCH

There wasn’t much quality on show but Aramide Oteh displayed a fine touch and presence in front of goal to score the winner.

MOAN OF THE MATCH

It was a poor spectacle again but the state of the Valley Parade pitch is not doing anyone any favours right now.
