BRADFORD (Park Avenue) manager Mark Bower has strengthened his squad for the relegation battle ahead by signing winger Ryan Hall (pictured above left) on a three-month loan from fellow Vanarama National League North side Spennymoor Town.

Hall, who played 87 minutes for Spennymoor in their 3-0 win over Avenue on December 21, caught Bower’s eye during that clash 10 days ago, and he was keen to add the pacey winger to the squad.

He joined Spennymoor on a two-year contract at the start of the 2017-18 season from Curzon Ashton, netting seven goals in 41 appearances during his first season at the club.

As one player joins, another departs, and Avenue have confirmed that striker Andre Johnson has left the club to join Northern Premier League side Grantham Town.

He signed for Avenue this September and made his debut during the team's 1-1 draw with Spennymoor at Horsfall.

The club have placed on record their thanks to Johnson for all his efforts in an Avenue shirt and have wished him all the best for the future.
