Membership for 2020 is now available to purchase online (bradfordno1.com) or from most local tackle shops. Senior membership costs £55 for the year, with juniors £5, and gives access to 70 waters around Yorkshire.

A lock will be placed on the gate at Raskelf from January, with keys available using the form in the new yearbooks. This will use the same key as currently in place for Knotford and Kirklees.

With river levels continuing to be high, there have been few reports over recent weeks but at Raskelf lake there have been good catches of F1 carp, skimmers and roach on maggot or bread.

LEEDS & DISTRICT ASA

Club membership is no longer available from Tackle 2U. Books are being issued but not sent out until after Christmas.

The angler who was caught finishing at Topcliffe without a membership book and gave wrong details was taken to court where he was prosecuted and now has a criminal record.

The weather has played havoc with the matches, even on heavily stillwaters, at Kippax Park the winner had more than 100lbs, while the second place was secured with less than 2lb.

At Moormonkton pools, the winner had 5lb. However, things got back to normal this last weekend. The Kippax match was won by T Hewson 46lb 15oz, 2 J Brogden 17lb 15oz, 3 A Broomhead 10lb 6oz.

At Moormonkton the winner was A Warren 107lb 12oz, 2 C Watson 99lb 2oz, 3 B Fisk 95lb 9oz.

LISTERHILLS AA

The canal continues to produce mixed catches of small fish, while lure fishermen have reported catching perch and a few pike.

We appeal for more members to come forward to act as watchers. When you obtain your membership book it must be signed.
