A TITANIC tussle between first and third in the Bradford Sunday Alliance Premier Division ended honours even, as Crossflatts Village and Tyersal Sunday played out a 3-3 draw.
Billy Bailey found the net twice for leaders Crossflatts, with Mick Garnett also scoring. Tyersal replied courtesy of a Josh Finan double and a Ryan Pogson strike.
That draw meant West Bowling closed the gap at the top to just two points after their 6-0 home win over Sandy Lane.
After an even first 25 minutes, John May opened the scoring with a powerful header, but after an end to end half, it was still only 1-0.
Bowling soon doubled their score. Alex Mellor crossed to Joe Jagger, who lashed his shot passed the hapless keeper for 2-0.
Jagger fired home two more in quick succession to grab his hat-trick and make it 4-0, before Paul Hague's precise pass found Tom Skelly, who ploughed into the box and made it five.
Jagger rifled home his fourth to make it 6-0 on 75 minutes. Bowling would have been pleased with the margin of victory, having had to overcome a few injuries on the day.
Meanwhile, a Hassan Khan hat-trick inspired Championship leaders Bradford Moor YSA to a thrilling 7-3 victory at second-bottom Peacock Bar.
It was a quieter affair at FC Queensbury, as they played out a 1-1 home draw with East Bierley Village.
The stalemate leaves the pair both three points behind Moor at the summit.
Elsewhere, there was a home walkover win for Hope and Anchor AFC against FC Dog & Gun.
FC Mill Lane went top of Division One, as they beat previous leaders Low Moor 3-2 in a gripping contest.
Struggling Bolton Woods Socials grabbed an impressive 4-4 draw with Thornton United and that point meant they overtook Beldon Oddies, who slumped to a 4-1 defeat to RISlondon.
Doubles for Robson Moore and Brendan Folan saw Clayton Albion up to second in Division Two, as they beat AFC Wibsey Reserves 6-3.
Lowly Buttershaw St Paul's and Clayton Athletic played out a 3-3 draw, while finally, in Division Three, Albion Sports Sunday beat Hunsworth 3-0.
