BRADFORD (Park Avenue) have extended the loan of Reece Staunton from Bradford City and signed goalkeeper Tom Nicholson on a free.
Originally, Staunton’s loan expired on December 8 but after impressing in his three appearances, since making his debut against Gloucester City in the Buildbase FA Trophy, Mark Bower has decided to resign the 17-year-old until January 12.
Furthermore, the Bradford boss has reacted quickly to the news that his number one Joe Green will be out over the Christmas period, after suffering a leg injury against Halesowen on Tuesday, by bringing in the experienced Nicholson.
The 32-year-old has spent his career travelling around the non-league system after appearing for Halifax Town, Gainsborough Trinity, Alfreton and North Ferriby United.
Bower will be able to recall on his two new additions when his side travel to playoff chasing Spennymoor Town.
