THE popular Sean Regan is a busy man, and the former Eccleshill United boss is back in non-league football as assistant manager at Jonathan Rimmington's Liversedge.
Regan resigned from his role at Eccleshill in May, but he certainly hasn't been putting his feet up, given his current job at the FA as a grassroots coach.
He has also been helping out with a football club up in Queensbury and now, if that wasn't enough, he has returned to work at Sedge, where he managed a decade ago.
Someone who began to make his name under Regan back then was striker Paul Walker. His talent was evident back then, and since leaving, he has made a mark higher up the divisions with Bradford (Park Avenue) and Farsley Celtic.
He has now returned to Sedge, on loan from Farsley, after many years away. There was plenty of excitement surrounding his second debut against Bradford rivals Thackley, but with that game called off, today is now set to be his first game back.
It does not get much much tougher than this weekend's opponents though, who are Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division leaders Penistone Church.
Sedge travel to face the Sheffield side after a slight dip in form, with one win in their last four league games seeing them drop down to sixth.
It means they are eight points behind Penistone, but crucially, Sedge have four games in hand on them, which means a win today could prove vital.
With Regan and Walker back in the ranks, they will fancy their chances of success.
