WEST Bowling have qualified for the last 16 of the West Riding FA Sunday Cup with a 3-1 home win over Wakefield Golf Club FC at a very blustery Emsley's Recreation Ground.

A Kyle Dyche hat-trick sealed the win for Bowling, but the windy conditions spoiled the game, as both sides struggled to get the ball flowing.

Playing with the wind behind them, Wakefield took the lead after 12 minutes when Lewis Farrell found the net with a fine chip.

The hosts created a few half chances but it took a penalty for them to draw level, as Karl Fawcett charged into the box before being upended by a defender.

Up stepped Dyche to take the kick, and he sent the keeper the wrong way, slamming the ball to his left to make it 1-1 at half-time.

The second half started with Bowling having more of the ball, but it took a smart save by their keeper Ash Onitiri to keep the sides level.

After 70 minutes, the home side finally made the breakthrough. Adam Jordan did well, surging forward and putting the ball across the box to Dyche, whose clinical finish flew past the keeper for 2-1.

With 10 minutes left, Bowling completed the scoring. Man of the match Dyche was brought down just inside the box, and he once more stepped up to take the penalty kick.

This time, he put the ball into the opposite corner, sending the keeper the wrong way to complete his hat-trick and make the full-time score 3-1.

Olympic also won their third round clash, although it was a slightly tighter affair. Visitors Sandy Lane gave them a good game, but in the end it was the hosts who emerged as 2-1 winners.

It was anything but a close contest at Myrtle Park, as Bolton Woods turned on the style to record a hugely impressive 5-0 away win.

There is strong Bradford representation in the last 16, with West Bowling, Olympic and Bolton Woods joining several other teams from the city in the next round.

Station Hotel booked their place in the last 16 last Sunday, with a 4-1 win at FC Rothwell, while Westwood Park did the same, edging out Leeds City FC Rovers 2-1.

Finally, FC United of Baildon are also still in the mix.

They hosted Bradford rivals Peacock Bar last week, winning 4-1 on penalties after a hard-fought 1-1 draw.
