A STUNNING home performance from Bolton Woods in the Bradford Sunday Alliance Premier Division saw them thump Westwood Park 8-3.

It was only their second win of the season, and it vaulted them up from ninth to sixth.

Matthew Addy netted twice, while there were further Bolton goals from Jordan Buck, Andrew McHugh, Sebastian Scaroni, Harrison Stirk, Jack Warburton and substitute Scott Mortimer.

Elsewhere, Michael Garnett once again proved why he is arguably the best striker in the Premier Division by scoring two goals, as leaders Crossflatts Village made it seven league wins out of seven despite a late Marcus Davey red card.

Garnett returned to the side after missing the previous league game due to the birth of his son Teddy.

His goals came in the third and 70th minute, as his side clinched a 2-1 win at battling Oakenshaw to cap off a magical week for the veteran number nine.

Sandy Lane earned an impressive 3-0 home win over fourth-placed Tyersal Sunday thanks to goals from Luke Hammond, Lee Smith and Jordan Bayliss.

Bradford Moor YSA went top of the Championship after thumping Fairweather Green WMC 9-0 away from home.

Visiting striker Mohammed Zakariyah proved too hot to handle for the opposition, as he netted five times.

Connor Cooper scored a hat-trick for FC Queensbury in their thrilling mid-table clash with FC Dog & Gun, but it was not enough to secure all three points in a 4-4 draw.

An Aaron Williams double helped Peacock Bar win their relegation six-pointer at AFC Titans 5-1, while East Bierley Village beat Heaton Athletic 4-1.

Low Moor have now built up a two-point lead at the top of Division One. They beat Thornton United 5-2 thanks to Danny Farrar’s brace, while second-placed FC Mill Lane could only manage a point in an exciting 4-4 draw at Bramley United.

Bolton Woods Socials climbed off the bottom with a fine 3-2 home win over sixth-placed Eccleshill Lane Ends.

Doubles from Martin Charles, Robert Cook and Nikki Thornton helped Clayton Albion into second in Division Two with a 7-2 win at Buttershaw St Paul’s.

Windhill Ajax remain top though, after they thumped AFC Lions 5-1.

Elsewhere, Delius beat Drop Kick United 5-2 and AFC Prince of Orange and Prospect Reserves played out a 1-1 draw.

In Division Three, Royal Clayton beat Beldon Oddies Reserves 4-3 in a top-of-the-table thriller, as substitute Russell Taylor grabbed a 90th minute winner.

Finally, Esholt thumped Park Avenue Old Boys 6-1 at home.
