A YORKSHIRE Amateur League Representative XI will enjoy a second round tie against the Cheshire League in the FA Inter-League Cup at Hyde United's Ewen Fields, on Saturday.
In their fifth appearance in the competition, Yorkshire beat holders North Riding League 6-0 in the first round.
The away side will be filled with players from several Supreme Division clubs including the likes of the perfect Farsley Celtic Juniors, Horsforth St Margaret’s, Middleton, Stanley Utd, Leeds Medics & Dentists, Route One Rovers and Gildersome Spurs.
The pair do have previous after Yorkshire beat Cheshire 3-1 at Northwich Victoria’s ground some 10 years ago en route to a semi-final place in the competition which exists for 32 teams from step seven division leagues and any other league invited by the FA.
The tournament is held biennially with the winner having the opportunity to play against sides in Europe.
