THE Bantams must beat Rochdale by three goals in their final EFL Leasing.com Trophy match next month to qualify for the knockout stages.

Bolton Wanderers beat Manchester City under-21s 3-1 last night to go three points clear of City in second place.

It means Gary Bowyer's men have it all to do when Rochdale visit Valley Parade on Tuesday, November 12 to leapfrog Wanderers into the qualifying places.

Manchester City, who beat the Bantams 2-1, have already won the group despite last night's loss.

Dale, who are on the same points as Bowyer's side, need to win by four goals to qualify.
